Description
An all time favourite ornamental grass, the Ribbon Grass plant is a vigorous perennial grass boasting a colony of narrow, arching leaves boldly striped with white, pale and dark green. Because of its bendy leaves, this plant looks great in hanging pots, counter tops and in the ground. This grass requires little upkeep and maintenance, has almost no pest or disease concerns, and can survive a wide range of light and moisture conditions.

Nourishment
Ribbon grass does not require regular feeding to thrive, however feeding with Bahaar™ or any equivalent fertilizer once a month is sufficient to foster new growth. Biogro™ should be used every 3 months to keep the soil fertile and re-energized.
Repotting
Repot only when the plant outgrows the correct pot. They spread fast so you can divide and pot the new growth into another pot. It is essential to ensure that the soil not only remains moist but also drains well.
Rays of Sunshine
They do well in direct sunshine as long as it is not too severe. They flourish and perform well in partial shade as well.
Viable Locations
Grow them for their fast spreading habit to create a nice, thick looking corner with other plants. Any sopt with partial shade is good.
Water Levels
Your plants will arrive in a self-watering pot adept at safeguarding a continually moist potting medium. If the soil appears to be dry, gently lift the black inner container to check the reservoir's water level. If the reservoir is nearly empty, add 150-175 mL of water to the soil from the top.

Common Worries
1. The Ribbon grass is not spreading well.
Keep tthe soil moist. If the soil is day and less moisture then the growth slows down.
2. The plant is dying
Ribbon grass can't take long day spells and also die if there is excess moisture in the soil. Regular but moderate waterina is needed.
