Step by Step Growth Guide

1. Sowing
Pumpkin seeds can be grown by direct method.
Due to the heaviness of the fruits, it is advisable to grow them in ground rather than pots / containers
Prepare the seedbed. (Refer to growing through seeds guidelines)
Sow the seeds at a depth of 0.8 cms and at a distance of 90 cms between plants and 120 cms between rows.
Cover lightly and water gently.

2. Nurturing
The seeds will germinate in 6 - 8 days. Ensure sufficient sunlight.
Watering should be done daily in summers and at the base of the plant.
Fertilisation should begin after 35 - 40 days and at intervals of 15 days. Choose from ORGANIC or INORGANIC options.
Harvesting can be done at the end of 85 - 90 days and continue for next 3 months with good care.
