  • Zucchini is a favorite garden vegetable due to its ease of growing in most climates. It is generally a warm weather crop, sensitive to frost and cold.
  • It tolerates a wide range of souls. The most important thing is that the soil should have good drainage. Add a good amount of manure as well. You can grow Zucchini directly or transplant the seedlings at a spacing of 60 cm between rows as well as plants.
  • Watering should be done under the plant and not directly on stems or foliage to avoid diseases. Water as well as drought conditions will make the immature fruits fall off the vine.
  • To obtain more & better quality of fruit use Super Vegetable fertilizer once every 15 days and once every 7 days when the buds appear (Instruction on the product pack.)
  • It is advisable to grow Zucchini in the ground and not pots. Start harvesting when the fruit is 4" to 5" long and when the skin is still tender. Picking the fruit frequently causes the plant to continue to grow and to produce more.
