The seeds can be sown directly, no need of transplanting The spacing should be 60 cm between plants and 100 cm between rows. It is more tolerant to heavy rainfall but suffers from water stagnation hence ensuring that it is avoided.
  • They require proper irrigation at regular intervals The variety in this packet is the selection type. It is a climbing variety. Place poles and give wire or twine supports in rows for the plants to grow and stabilize.
  • To obtain more & better quality of fruits use Super Vegetable fertilizer once every 15 days and once every 7 days when the buds appear (Instructions on the product pack)
  • The pods are ready for harvesting after 55-60 days of sowing. They grow very long but it is better to pick them when not very long. While picking, cut the pods with a sharp knife to minimize the plant damage, thus maximizing harvest.
