Step by Step Growth Guide
1. Sowing
Coriander is sown by direct method
You can grow in shallow round or rectangular container with minimum depth of 6 - 8"
Fill the container with POT-O-MIX (Growing Medium)
Prepare the seedbed if growing in ground. (Refer to growing through seeds Guidelines)
Sow the seeds at depth of 0.6 cms. Before sowing, rub the seeds between your palms to split them open.
In container sow at distance of 10 cms or you can just sprinkle uniformly.
In ground sow them at a distance of 15 cms between plants and 30 cms between rows.
Water lightly and keep in shade till they germinate.
2. Nurturing
The seeds will germinate in about 8 - 10 days and seedling stage within 10 - 15 days.
Fertilisation should begin at the end of 20 days and continue at every 10 days interval. Choose from ORGANIC or INORGANIC options.
Watering should be done gently and at the base.
The crop is ready for harvest in 30 - 35 days from sowing. Harvest by cutting the plant 1" (inch) above the soil. Use a good sharp scissors leaving the root system intact for next harvesting.
You can harvest for another 2 - 3 times at interval of of 15 - 20 days.
